WELCOME TO "ADRIFT BY THE BAY" OUR HOUSE IS LOCATED ON 180 KENDRICK AVE, WHICH IS RIGHT ALONG MAYO BEACH ON WELLFLEET BAY.
ADRIFT BY THE BAY is set down along the bay, in the heart of Wellfleet, on the outer part of Cape Cod. Wellfleet is known worldwide for their delicious oysters and their beautiful art galleries. This village has always kept its tradition of keeping the area historic, quaint, and cultural. You will not find any fast-food restaurants, boardwalks, or video arcades. Instead, you can hike, golf, bike along the famous Cape Cod Rail Trail, kayak, whale watch, birdwatch, sail, fish, weekly Wellfleet square dancing and more... An example of fast food is a cup of Wellfleet Clam Chowder!! (Our children have been coming to Wellfleet since they were born and still enjoy it; )
So, come to Wellfleet and get a taste of "Real Cape Cod"!!! Our house is located along the famous, Mayo Beach, and is situated overlooking Wellfleet Bay.
You are within walking distance to many of Wellfleet's attractions, including: the village, town wharf, galleries, tennis courts, playground, skateboard park, summer playhouse theatre, and more! Just drive a few minutes and you will be at the ocean, ponds, bike trails, hiking trails, golf, winery, kayaking, shell fishing and more! We don't mind the summer traffic, when the roads are crowded, we can still get to the ocean or ponds (which is only a 5-minute drive), without going on Route 6. Our house is situated where we can drive straight across Route 6 or into town without having to sit in traffic.
Provincetown is approximately. 20 minutes away for shopping, whale watching, dune buggy rides... Orleans & Chatham are both lovely towns and also only approximately. 20 minutes away!
Wellfleet is not only beautiful during the Summer. Try coming during the Spring and Fall seasons. Each season has its own unique beauty. The weather is usually gorgeous and there are less people! Many local festivals are held during these months all over the Cape.
